In her 10th grade mechanical drawing class, Beverly designed a house plan for her term project. “I knew at that point,” she says of her career path. Beverly studied architecture in college. Afterwards, she worked at an architectural firm, began a family, and operated a contract draperies and bedding business. In time, life’s path led her back to her place of calling. She returned to school, earning her degree in interior design. Beverly’s strengths are creativity, deft use of color and lighting, and attention to detail. She enjoys both commercial and residential environments.

PERSONAL STATEMENT
The paths to harmony and beauty are many and varied. My style preference incorporates classic timelessness with touches of design trends. Ultimately, however, I enjoy discovering my client’s needs and desires. I don’t have “a look”–nor do I want one. My passion for design flows from the challenge each client brings. Every project is different, every project presents a new opportunity for ingenuity and creative expression. I love the psychology of design and color. I view the relationship between design and how a client feels and functions in their environment as what matters most. Ideally, an interior design captures the essence and persona of the client, combines comfort with sophistication, and withstands the test of time.
